Healing Tallow Body Butter

Grass fed tallow with organic olive oil infused with organic home grown calendula flowers and wild crafted pine pitch.

Tallow is an incredibly rich moisturizer for the skin. It is full of vitamins A, D, E and K. The genetic components of tallow are very similar to our own skins genetic make up so  our skin can easily recognize this, making the vitamins and fatty acids more bioavailable. Tallow is anti inflammatory and it will not clog your pores.

Calendula and pine pitch are both vulnerary herbs, meaning that they assist in the healing of skin wounds.

Pine pitch is created from pine trees as their form of wound healing. It is anti microbial and anti inflammatory. When harvesting pine pitch it is very important to not take from a fresh wound and to not take too much from the tree. I harvested this from our property. This was harvested with integrity and respect to the tree.

Calendula is well known for her wound healing ability. She is anti microbial, anti inflammatory, and assists the body in healing quickly and reducing scar formation.
